Many projects benefit from an artistic input into the details of the design, whether a beautiful stained glass window, or unique furniture. We are a very hands-on practice and can both design and make a wide variety of arts and crafts objects to complement our schemes. We also work with a whole variety of local artists and craftspeople, ranging from blacksmiths to sculptors and decorators to joiners.
Working on practical conservation projects with young people is a great way to share skills and get a job done. On selected projects we work with several different colleges to source young architects, surveyors and other professionals and give them some invaluable site experience. Only once your hands have made something can you really understand it.
